I combine my professional training and expertise with my own life experience and personality to offer genuine guidance and support to clients.
I specialize in relationship issues-
I work with clients located in the state of Virginia online, and in person in Leesburg Virginia.
My path to becoming a counselor has been shaped by a rich and diverse set of life experiences. I have lived on 3 continents- both as a third culture kid and a trailing spouse. I understand the unique stressors of moving, having relocated often, living overseas, and learning to adapt and grow through each new season.
As a former federal employee and being married to a veteran, I understand the unique stressors of government and military life. As a former stay at home mom, I know how isolating it can feel, and I’ve learned firsthand the strategies that help build connection, purpose, and resilience.
Starting a second career later in life has given me a profound appreciation for the courage it takes to step into something new, while balancing the ongoing demands of parenting and partnership. I’ve been married for 16 years and am raising both a teen and a tween, so I get the real-life challenges and joys of navigating relationships, family dynamics, and making time for yourself amid the fullness of life.
My faith is a meaningful part of who I am, and for clients who desire it, I’m able to incorporate a Christian perspective into the counseling process. An important part of my Christian faith is respecting and welcoming clients of all backgrounds and beliefs. My work is client-centered and guided by your values, goals, and comfort level.
These experiences have not only shaped who I am, but also deeply inform the work I do with clients—offering empathy, insight, and practical tools rooted in lived experience to help you move forward with clarity and strength.
